
Introduction to the venue
Henry Fok Ying Tung Hall (Warm-up Pool)
Located on the west part of the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), the Henry Fok Ying Tung Hall (Warm-up Pool) is a 50-meter-long swimming pool built in full compliance with international competition standards and includes both deep (six lanes) and shallow (four lanes) areas. The water is ozone-sterilized and supplemented by chlorine preparations to ensure optimal water quality. The ventilation system maintains a pool-side temperature of 22-26 degrees Celsius at all times. The pool is now fully open to the public.

Note: Off-peak season tickets cannot be used during peak season. Group purchases of 100 or more swimming tickets are valid according to mutual agreement.

Note: Beginners, group, and individual classes each last 60 minutes. Each fundamental long-term training class lasts 90 minutes. Each long-term training class for competition lasts 120 minutes.

Admission instructions and things to keep in mind
1. Enter the venue using tickets or cards after scanning the code. Each ticket is valid for one person only. Individuals without tickets are not allowed to enter.
2. Swimmers are requested to collect a wristband at the self-service dispenser and return it when exiting. Please keep an eye on the wristband. If it is lost, swimmers shall be responsible and pay RMB 50 yuan compensation per wristband.
3. Individuals suffering from fever, cough, diarrhea, serious heart disease, hypertension, acute infectious hepatitis, severe trachoma, venereal disease, acute infectious conjunctivitis, pinkeye, purulent exudative skin disease and contact infectious skin disease, severe psychosis, epilepsy, and alcohol abuse are not allowed to enter the swimming pool.
4. The swimming pool implements a time-sharing reservation system, with each session lasting at most 120 minutes, including showering and clothes changing. Swimmers should apportion their own time and leave enough time to shower and change clothes to avoid exceeding the time limit. In the case of the time limit being exceeded, an extra fee will be charged upon leaving.
5. Swimmers are prohibited from entering the swimming pool during non-operating hours. Those who force their way in will be expelled with compulsory measures.
6. Swimmers are not allowed to enter the swimming pool with shoes. For your health, please take a shower and soak your feet in the disinfection pool before entering the pool. Visitors who wear shoes should wear shoe covers.
7. Please lock the locker and take good care of your personal belongings to prevent theft. We will not bear any responsibility for lost personal belongings.
8. Swimmers should have sufficient self-protection awareness. Mind your step when going up and down stairs and walking. To prevent cramps in the water, please do warm-up exercises before swimming. Read safety signs carefully, especially those displaying water depth, before entering the water.
9. No jumping, reverse jumping, or diving. The floor of the swimming pool is wet and slippery. Please walk on the mat. To avoid injury, do not run, chase, splash about in the pool, and play water polo.
10. Swimmers should take a shower and wear swimming caps before entering the water. Please maintain the environmental sanitation of the swimming pool. Please dispose of waste appropriately. Only spit into the sputum ditch. Do not bring food and drinks into the swimming pool.
11. It is forbidden to use camera equipment in the swimming pool or wash clothes and other articles in the swimming pool and the shower.
12. Do not use flippers, paddling boards, water guns, and other equipment in the swimming pool to avoid disrupting and injuring others. In order not to affect lifeguards' line of sight, do not bring oversized inflatable equipment into the pool.
13. Swimmers are requested not to shake and climb over the railing or rest on the dividing line. Please be aware of safety when entering and exiting the water.
14. Swimmers should follow the instructions and advice of lifeguards or the venue's staff.
15. Swimmers must wear swimsuits or swimming trunks and swimming caps before entering the water.
16. Those who have no Beijing deep-water certificates are not allowed to swim in the deep-water area.
17. Children aged 12 and under and the elderly aged 65 years and above should be accompanied. Accompanying persons must also purchase a swimming ticket.
18. Children over 2 years old are not allowed to enter the dressing room of the opposite sex.
19. The swimming pool has no training agreements with any training institutions. The venue has its own swimming training system. It is not allowed to hold any type of non-venue-provided swimming training in the swimming pool. We have the right to take compulsory measures on anyone found to do otherwise.
20. In order to avoid injury to yourself and others, knives, explosives, flammable substances and devices, and other dangerous articles cannot be brought into the venue. In the case of illegal acts, the individual will be handed over to the public security department.
21. In case of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the venue's staff. Evacuate via the designated route and leave the venue quickly and orderly. The old, weak, sick, disabled, and pregnant shall be helped to leave first.
22. Swimmers should cooperate with the staff to maintain good order in the swimming pool. Let us create a safe, comfortable, civilized, and sanitary environment together.
23. After the training session, trainees may use the pool for up to one hour of practice, provided they are accompanied. If practice exceeds the one-hour limit, additional charges will apply in accordance with Article 4 of these regulations. If there is less than one hour between the end of the training session and the pool's scheduled closing time, trainees must leave the pool at the designated exit time.
24. Male swimmers are required to take a shower in under 15 minutes, and female swimmers are required to take a shower in under 20 minutes.
