National Aquatics Center sets stage for Beijing Youth Curling Club League

The third leg of this year's Beijing Youth Curling Club League wrapped up on Sept. 17 at the National Aquatics Center, a dual-Olympic venue in Beijing. The sport complex is also known as the Water Cube or Ice Cube.

Now in its second year, the Beijing Youth Curling Club League consists of five rounds made up of four preliminary matches and a grand finale. With three successful legs already having been hosted at the National Aquatics Center, the league continues to contribute to the popularization of curling in Beijing. These events not only strengthen the talent pool but also boost the city's competitive edge in curling, paving the way for the sport's long-term growth in the country.

To ensure the highest quality in operation for the competition, the venue's underground ice sports arena upgraded its LED displays and timing systems ahead of the event, enhancing the overall experience for participants. Live updates from the event were also broadcasted in the facility's Winter Olympic culture exhibition hall.
