Chinese automaker Chery Automobile Corporation unveiled the Tiggo 9, the latest flagship SUV in the company's Tiggo range, at the National Aquatics Center in Beijing on Monday.
The launch marked the first large-scale business event hosted by the venue since it resumed operation in December, and the latest in a line of product launches held here in recent years by car manufacturers such as Volkswagen, BMW and Haval.

The event was held in the dual-Olympic venue's 2,400-square-meter multifunctional hall. With a capacity of up to 1,000 people, the hall created a futuristic light show and 3D simulations by using its intelligent sound and lighting systems and illuminating the building's exterior membrane structures.
The National Aquatics Center has long been recognized as an ideal venue for vehicle product launches due to its high-quality facilities, reliable organization capacity and professional services.

In 2023, the venue is working to explore a diverse range of business forms including hosting sporting events, sci-tech projects and cultural activities. In the post-Beijing 2022 era, it will adopt a sustainable development approach, make the most of its dual-Olympic legacies, and strive to act as a benchmark for integrating commercial activities with dual-Olympic facilities.
