Introduction:
Over three days, around 100 teenage athletes from about 20 middle schools nationwide will compete in the National Aquatics Center's ice sports arena.
Organized by the China School Sports Federation, the tournament is the only national-level curling competition that integrates physical training with education programs.
The event aims to capitalize on China's commitment to involve 300 million people in winter sports. It also seeks to increase the popularity of curling in the post-Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics era, develop young curling talents, and encourage public participation.
