The National Aquatics Center hosted a children's fitness challenge on June 1 in Beijing, in celebration of International Children's Day. A part of this year's city-wide children sports and culture festival, the parent-child event aims to foster stronger family bonds while encouraging fitness and teamwork among young participants.

The 3-kilometer course featured 15 innovative obstacles that kept competitors on their toes. Starting at the south square of the dual-Olympic venue, the route wound through various parts of the venue, including its west side, north square and underground areas, before finishing in the venue's Olympic Competition Hall.

The event saw more than 800 parents and children competing. In addition to customized medals and other keepsakes, the most rewarding aspect for participants was the shared experience of pushing limits and creating lasting memories.

The event perfectly captures the concept of "Be Stronger, Be Better – Parental accompany gives children courage," while also showcasing how the venue can continue to inspire and bring people together. Looking ahead, the venue plans to expand this event into a year-round series, offering even more opportunities for children to immerse themselves in Olympic culture and embrace the values of the Olympic Games.
