With summer in full swing, the National Aquatics Center in Beijing is offering a variety of exciting activities to help you beat the heat and enjoy the season to the fullest.
'Light of Water' digital film
Starting mid-July, the National Aquatics Center will present "Light of Water," an immersive digital film experience. Through the "deconstruction and reconstruction" of the Olympic rings, the film will revisit pivotal moments in Olympic history and celebrate its enduring spirit.

The film will premiere at the venue's Olympic competition hall, where numerous Olympic and world records were shattered. Utilizing cutting-edge projection technologies and immersive digital installations, the venue will transport visitors back to the 2008 Summer Games and 2022 Winter Games, offering them a chance to relive the excitement of these events while also honoring the Olympic spirit ahead of the upcoming Paris 2024.
Sports training programs
The venue's Swimming Club will introduce a range of training programs in swimming, table tennis and dance for different ages. The swimming program offers classes for all skill levels, long-term training for intermediate swimmers, and advanced courses. The table tennis program includes fitness training for beginners and technique coaching for enthusiasts. Additionally, the dance program features professional choreography and skill guidance to prepare dancers for qualification exams.

The club will also provide daycare services for parents, offering children engaging sports training opportunities, essential swimming safety lessons, and fun trivia about both Summer and Winter Olympics.

Meanwhile, a series of curling and ice-skating programs will be launched at the venue's underground ice sports arena, catering to both beginners and teenage enthusiasts. The arena will mark its second anniversary on Aug. 8 with thrilling ice games and concerts for its members to enjoy.
Science courses and summer camps
The venue will host a series of science courses led by scientists, covering four major disciplines: physical science, life science, earth and space sciences, as well as technology and engineering, fostering curiosity and innovation in young minds.

The venue will also host a total of six five-day summer camps for children aged 6 to 12 this summer, with activities including learning about Olympic history, water treatment methods, traditional crafts, as well as a variety of water and ice sports.
With so many diverse offerings, the National Aquatics Center promises a refreshing and enriching summer experience for everyone.
