The Beijing leg of the 2025-26 Global Conference on Educational Robotics kicked off at the National Aquatics Center on Oct. 25, bringing together hundreds of teenage tech enthusiasts.
Co-organized by the Asian committee of Botball Educational Robotics and the National Aquatics Center, participants showcased their coding and robotics skills while tackling challenges inspired by urban rescue scenarios.
The event highlights the Center's commitment to using its Olympic legacy to engage young people with real-world issues. By putting participants in realistic rescue simulations, the competition tested their technical abilities and fostered a sense of social responsibility. This demonstrates technology isn't only about theory and data, but a practical tool for improving communities.
Looking toward the future, the National Aquatics Center will continue to deepen the integration of technology and education, and in turn nurture a new generation of innovators, all of whom will be equipped with both technical expertise and a commitment to social responsibility.
