Beijing's National Aquatics Center came alive on Nov. 15-16 as nearly 300 ice-skating enthusiasts from across the city took the ice for the fourth leg of the 2025 Beijing Figure Skating and Synchronized Skating League.
The competition featured divisions for children, young people and adults across single skating, synchronized skating and ice dance, reflecting the vibrant development of the city's ice sport sector.
To provide a more engaging experience for skaters and fans alike, the venue offered a dedicated free viewing area that allowed spectators an up-close look at performances without the need for tickets or reservations.
Thanks to meticulous scheduling and on-site management, the competition proceeded seamlessly, keeping athletes, judges, and spectators properly separated. The event reached nearly 1 million viewers through live broadcasts on multiple online platforms.
The event included a dedicated rest area, giving participants and spectators a comfortable spot to unwind and enjoy live broadcasts on large screens. An adjacent market offered photography, makeup services, food, handmade crafts and cultural merchandise, enriching the overall event atmosphere.
